Men’s Basketball Game versus The Citadel Postponed

Conference gameplay to resume on Jan 1.

MACON, Ga. – The Southern Conference office announced on Monday evening that the men's basketball game between Mercer and The Citadel on Wednesday, Dec. 29 has been postponed due to positive COVID-19 tests and quarantine requirements.

The league will attempt to reschedule the conference game.

Two league games remain on the schedule for Wednesday, as Samford will visit Furman and Wofford will host VMI to open SoCon play. Chattanooga hosts ETSU on Thursday at 7 p.m. for an ESPNU contest.

UP NEXT:
Mercer will resume conference gameplay on Jan. 1 in Hawkins Arena against Chattanooga with the tip-off slated for 2 p.m. The matchup on Saturday can be viewed on ESPN+ and can be heard on the Mercer Sports Network (100.9 The Creek, and SportsMic).
