Conference gameplay to resume on Jan 5

MACON, Ga. – The Southern Conference office announced on Thursday afternoon that the men's basketball game between Mercer and Chattanooga on Saturday, Jan. 1 has been postponed due to positive COVID-19 tests and quarantine requirements.

The league will attempt to reschedule the conference game.

Chattanooga will continue to host ETSU Thursday evening in the conference opener for both squads.

UP NEXT:
Mercer will resume conference gameplay on Jan. 5 in Hawkins Arena against Samford with the tip-off slated for 7 p.m. The matchup on Wednesday can be viewed on ESPN+ and can be heard on the Mercer Sports Network (100.9 The Creek, and SportsMic).
