Mercer to Hold Outdoor Watch Party for NCAA Tournament

Fans wanting to watch the Bears in the NCAA Tournament can watch in Mercer Village
MACON, Ga. – Mercer University will hold an outdoor watch party for Sunday's women's basketball NCAA Tournament First Round game between Mercer and South Carolina.

Sunday's game will be televised on ESPN, and the University is hosting an outdoor watch party in Mercer Village. The event is free and is open to the public and will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with limited picnic tables available. Come down and support the Bears and local restaurants by grabbing dinner and cheering on the BEARS!

Participants are encouraged to bring their own chairs and spread out throughout Mercer Village, where roads will be blocked and the game will be projected on a big screen. Mercer Village merchants will also be showing the game for patrons.

Mercer will take on South Carolina in the first round of the women's basketball NCAA Tournament with tipoff set for 6 p.m. tonight at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

Masking and social distancing are required.
