COACH KAYDEN'S TAKE
"The guys got off to a little bit of a slow start today and made too many bogeys. We didn't quite recover and moved back in the field today, but we'll be able to learn from this moving forward. We had a great start to the event, and I'm proud of the guys. I know that we will turn this around and have a good stretch to the end of the regular season.
"We had a couple of guys finish near the top, and I'm proud of Tyler [Copp] and Ethan [Werblo] who both had very good tournaments. Great effort on their part for keeping us competitive in the field. We're definitely not satisfied with a fourth-place finish. These guys have higher expectations, as do I, when we go to a tournament, so we're going to work on that and compete hard and work hard."
Up Next
Mercer will close out its regular season slate at the Wofford Invitational on April 12-13 at the Spartanburg Country Club.
