"Mikey is one of the best people I know," remarked head coach Chad Shurman. "A relentless worker. His leadership has helped to transform our program. He's a guy that practices what he preaches and is always willing to go above and beyond for his teammates. He has been a 3 year captain for us and has been our teams "general" for the past 2. (The general position in our program is the top leader) I'm thrilled to see him recognized as a candidate for this prestigious award. He represents Mercer U and the SoCon well."
Â
Quinn boasts an impressive 4.0 GPA in graduate school as he is pursuing his masters in engineering management. In the summer of 2020, Quinn was one of just two Southern Conference men's lacrosse student-athletes to receive recognition from the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) with Scholar All-America honors.
