The camp is set for January 30 at Betts Stadium
MACON, Ga. – Mercer women's soccer head coach Tony Economopoulos and his staff will host their 2022 Winter ID Prospect Camp on Jan. 30 of 2022 at Betts Stadium, home of the women's soccer team.
The Winter ID Prospect Camp is open to prospects in eighth grade or higher (ages 14 and older). During the camp experience, participants will be placed in age-appropriate groups to ensure that they receive training instruction beneficial to their skill level and growth as a player.
Over the duration of the camp campers will receive instruction on tactical knowledge and in both small-sided games and competitive environments. Valdosa State's Head Coach, Stephen Andrew, will also be in attendance offering further coaching perspectives and overall knowledge of the game.
The goal of the camp, which is not an overnight camp, is to allow the participants a complete training session conducted by the Mercer University women's soccer staff and more. Campers will get the opportunity to experience a look into what collegiate soccer offers both on and off the pitch.
The camp's sessions on Sunday, January 30 – 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. The cost is $150 per camper for the single-day transaction.
Spots are limited, so act now by registering at mercersocercamps.com. Please direct any questions to Tony Economopoulos at Economopoulos_ab@mercer.edu or (478) 301-2060.
