Tourney Quarterfinals Now Set

The Citadel Joins Bears In Birmingham
Macon, Ga--The Mercer women's soccer team already knew who it would face, in the quarterfinals of the Southern Conference Tournament. Now all the match ups are set.Â
Tuesday's first round match ups saw The Citadel defeat VMI 3-0, and Wofford beat Furman 2-1. That will send The Citadel to Birmingham to play Samford in one quarterfinal game. The other game in that bracket will pit the Bears against ETSU. Wofford advances to play Chattanooga, in Chattanooga. North Carolina-Greensboro plays Western Carolina in the other match up in that bracket. All four quarterfinal games take place on Friday Oct. 28.Â
The semifinals will take place in Birmingham and Chattanooga on Sunday, October 30.Â

Samford vs. The Citadel
Friday Oct. 28--Chattanooga
UNCG vs. Western Carolina
Chattanooga vs. Wofford
