Mercer sweeps EMU in afternoon match
MACON, Ga. - The Mercer women's tennis team made a statement with its 7-0 sweep of Eastern Michigan on Saturday afternoon.
Following a disappointing 4-0 loss to Georgia Southern, Mercer flipped the script.
The Bears set the tone for the day with identical 6-2 wins at Nos. 1 and 2 to take the doubles point.
In singles play, Mercer kept its momentum by taking all six matchups. Mary Courville, Naya Tillitt and Lauren Rich won in straight sets.
