Men's Lacrosse to Rejoin ASUN as Affiliate Member

ATLANTA – The ASUN Conference has announced that Mercer will be joining the league as an affiliate member for men's lacrosse, starting with the 2023 season.
"Our men's lacrosse program is grateful for the opportunity to compete in the ASUN conference starting in 2023," said Head Coach Chad Surman. "Mercer men's lacrosse has a history with this conference, and we are looking forward to the opportunity to build upon our past success in the ASUN. I'd like to thank our athletic administration and the ASUN leadership for making this happen and creating one of the most intriguing conferences in the sport of lacrosse."
The Bears - along with Jacksonville and Lindenwood, a school transitioning to Division I – will join existing members - Air Force, Bellarmine, Cleveland State, Detroit Mercy, Robert Morris and Utah - in the soon-to-be nine-member ASUN.
