Bears fall to Wofford
SPARTANBURG, S.C. - In the final regular season match of the 2021-22 season, Mercer wrapped up the slate with a defeat to Wofford. The homestanding Terriers took a 6-1 win at the Reeves Tennis Center.
Alara Hollyfield and Francesca Franchi battled at Court No. 3 but fell after a tiebreak at 6-7 (5-7).
Mary Courville won by going the distance on Court No. 2 with a 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 win to give Mercer the point.
With the season complete, Mercer finished with a 6-15 record and an 0-7 mark in league play. The SoCon Championships will begin on April 21.
