Sadd Selected as CoSIDA Academic All-District

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Mercer lacrosse midfielder, Luke Sadd, was named to the Academic All-District At-Large Team for District 4, as announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America.

In the classroom, Sadd followed up a 3.97 in marketing for undergrad with an impeccable 4.0 GPA for his Master's in Business Administration. He was the only student-athlete from a Georgia school, the lone lacrosse honoree and just one of two from the Southern Conference, joined by Furman men's tennis' Niccolo Rossi.

The midfielder made 49 appearances over five seasons in the Orange & Black, setting season highs with 40 face off wins and 33 ground balls in the 2022 slate. In the April 9 game versus Hampton, the Alpharetta, Ga. native claimed 15-of-22 wins at the "X" and claimed five ground balls en route to the 22-6 win.
