
Two Tabbed for IWLCA Senior All-Star Game

Iseabal Cryne, Haley Gerold to represent Bears on Sunday
MACON, Ga. – Following a fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and conference tournament championship, a pair of Bears – Iseabal Cryne and Haley Gerold – will represent Mercer at the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Senior All-Star Game on Sunday, June 5. The game will take place in Sparks, Maryland, at USA Lacrosse's headquarters.
Cryne, a graduate student goalkeeper, started in all but four games in her five seasons for the Bears and holds the program record for career saves with 538. In the 2022 campaign, she 138 shots in more than 983 minutes of action. Following the 2021 SoCon Tournament, the Milton, Delaware, native was honored as the competition's Most Outstanding Player following 21 saves in 115 minutes played in the cage.
Gerold, a defender, started in all but one game over the last two years and was a force in for the Bears. The Sandy Springs, Maryland, native claimed 24 ground balls, caused nine turnovers, dished an assist and registered a shot on goal in the 2022 season. In the regular season win at Furman, she tallied four ground balls and helped on Hailey Rhatigan's third quarter goal. Against Longwood, she collected a pair of wins in the draw circle on the way to the 20-7 Senior Day win.
Mercer was the sole Big South school with multiple nominees.
