Enjulina Gonzalez Named Preseason All-SoCon

Bears picked third in coaches, fourth in media poll
ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Enjulina Gonzalez was named Preseason All-SoCon as announced by the Southern Conference at Media Day in Asheville, N.C. on Wednesday.
The preseason coaches and media polls were also revealed at Media Day. In the eight team league, the Bears were picked to finish third in the coaches poll and fourth in the media poll.
Gonzalez enters her sophomore year with the Bears following an outstanding freshman season in which she was named to the SoCon All-Freshman Team. Last season, Gonzalez played in all 28 games, starting 15, and finished third on the team with 10.2 points per game. She shot 51.2 percent from the floor which was fifth best in the conference.
The Bears open up the regular season at Western Kentucky on November 6 at 6 p.m. The home opener is November 9 when Florida Atlantic comes to Hawkins Arena.
