Women's Tennis Signs Ines Homberg

MACON, Ga. – Mercer women's tennis head coach Eric Hayes has announced the signing of Ines Homberg from Alicante, Spain.

While playing her tennis overseas in Europe, Homberg has been ranked as high as 70^th in the women's national rankings. Her career-high International Tennis Federation (ITF) ranking is 743^rd.

Homberg has won five ITF juniors doubles titles. Her best Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) in doubles is 9.17 and in singles is 8.73. The UTR is a worldwide rating system that rates players on the same 1.00-16.50 points global scale.
