MACON, Ga. - Mercer women's lacrosse will host Presbyterian on Wednesday in the last home game of the regular season.

SERIES HISTORY
Saturday will be the 6th all-time meeting between Mercer and Presbyterian. Mercer leads the series 4-1 and has won the last four meetings including a 20-3 win last season.
LAST TIME OUT
Mercer defeated Radford 18-2, giving up its fewest goals to an opponent in a game this season as the Bears remained undefeated in the Big South with the win on Senior Day at Five Star Stadium.
The win moved the Bears to 7-0 in conference play with two Big South games remaining.
Mercer had 11 different players score in the game, led by hat tricks from Shannon Urey and Gabby DiVirgilio. Eight Mercer seniors made up the 11 different goal scorers.
Urey's three goals pushed her season total to 67 goals which leads the Big South and ranks second in the country.
Seven of Mercer's 18 goals in the game came from the free position as Urey, DiVirgilio and Jordan Bramble each had two free position goals.
Kayla Soltys and the Bears were dominant in the draw control circle as Mercer had 18 draw controls to Radford's six. Soltys had a season-high 13 draw controls which ties the Mercer single-game record for draw controls which she set last season.
Seven different Mercer players had at least two caused turnovers and Mercer goalie Kate Vanderlinde made five saves for a .714 save percentage and was named Big South Defensive Player of the Week for her performance.
SCOUTING PRESBYTERIAN
The Presbyterian Blue Hose enter the game with a 6-9 record including a 3-4 mark in conference play. The Blue Hose have been much better on the road than at home as they are 5-4 on the road and just 1-5 at home.
Presbyterian is eighth in the Big South in goals per game at 8.93 per game. Instead the Blue Hose have relied on their defense as they have allowed the third fewest goals among Big South teams this year as they allow 12.93 goals per game.
Presbyterian is also one of the best teams in the Big South in taking care of the ball as only Mercer averages fewer turnovers per game in the Big South.
Presbyterian struggles with draw controls as they rank last in the Big South in draw control percentage at just 33.9 percent. Mercer averages more than twice as many draw controls per game as the Blue Hose.
Presbyterian's leading goal scorer is Abby Edmisten who has 39 goals in 15 games. Willow Hammond is the other Blue Hose player with 30+ goals this season as she has 34 on the year.
