Bears sign Olivia Bori from FAU and Morganne Eikelbarner from Oklahoma
MACON, Ga. – Mercer women's soccer head coach Tony Economopoulos has announced the signing of two transfer players in Olivia Bori and Morganne Eikelbarner.
Bori joins the Bears after playing two seasons at Florida Atlantic. Bori is a forward/winger from Jacksonville, Florida and attended the same high school (Bartram Trail) as current Mercer defender Anna Bachman. As a freshman at FAU, Bori was named to the AAC All-Rookie Team.
Eikelbarner comes to Macon from Oklahoma where she played three seasons for the Sooners. Eikelbarner is a forward from Plano, Texas. She was a 2023 Academic All-Big 12 Second Team selection.
"We are really excited to be adding Morganne and Olivia to our program," said head coach Tony Economopoulos. "They are going to make an immediate impact and strengthen our group. Olivia is a very quick and athletic winger/forward who is going to cause problems for opposing teams. Morganne brings a dynamic and physical central attacking presence who will create many chances in front of goal. This transfer portal window was very good for us."
