MACON, Ga. - The Mercer women's lacrosse team welcomes No. 5 Notre Dame to Macon on Sunday in a rematch of last year's NCAA Tournament first round game. First draw is at noon.

SERIES HISTORY
Sunday will be just the second all-time meeting between Mercer and Notre Dame. The two teams met for the first time last season in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, which Notre Dame won, 21-6.
LAST TIME OUT
The Mercer women's lacrosse team fell on the road to No. 13 Florida, 20-7 last weekend in Gainesville, Florida.
Florida entered the game with the second most draw controls per game in the country at just over 18 per game and ended the game with 20 draw controls to Mercer's 10.
Kayla Soltys led Mercer offensively with two goals to go with five draw controls. Five other Mercer players each had one goal on the afternoon.
SCOUTING NOTRE DAME
Notre Dame enters Sunday's game 8-2 overall with some impressive wins this season. The Irish have wins over No. 1 Northwestern, No. 2 Boston College, and No. 7 North Carolina.
Notre Dame has five Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-Americans, including two First Team All-Americans in midfielder Kasey Choma and attacker Jackie Wolak.
The Irish average 15.8 goals per game, 10th most in the country. They are also strong defensively, allowing just 9.7Â goals per game, second best in the ACC.
Notre Dame has been an excellent first half team, as they are outscoring their opponents 88-40 in the first half this season. Notre Dame averages the third most shots per game in the country at 35.6. The Irish do an excellent job of not turning the ball over as they average the fewest turnovers per game in the country at just 10.8 per game.
Jackie Wolak leads the Irish offensively with 47 points - 32 goals, 15Â assists - on the season. Wolak is one of five Irish players with more than 15 goals on the season.
In goal for Notre Dame is Lilly Callahan who has a 10.08 goals against average and .404 save percentage.
