MACON – Senior attackman Jack Parolin, senior midfielder Khory Reid, and freshmen LSM Thomas Venzie would lead the way for the Bears in scoring. Parolin would complete his hat-trick, while Reid and Venzie found the back of the net twice. The Bears would end their season on a 13-11 win over Lindenwood in Macon, Georgia on Saturday April 27.

Nine different players scored goals for the Bears (4-10). Dillon Bush, Chase Cope, Parker Junod, Ben Lever, Matt O'Connor, and Taylor Dooley each added a goal for the Bears. Between the pipes Senior Colin Kelley notched 12 saves while Peter Klueber made 3 additional saves for the Bears.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Lindenwood opened scoring for the Bears scoring twice before Jack Parolin and Ben Lever would equalize the game at 2-2. The Bears were not done yet and scored three more goals before the end of the first from Reid, Venzie, and Parolin.
The second quarter would see four total goals scored between both team. The Lions would score first, however Cope and Venzie increased the Bears lead by two. Lindenwood scored the final goal of the half, but the Bears still led 7-4 heading into halftime.
The Lions scored three straight to start the third. Mercer responded with a goal from Jack Parolin with 27 seconds left in the third quarter. The Bears led 8-7 heading into the final period of play.
The bears continued their goal streak into the fourth scoring five straight. Reid, Junod, Dooley, Bush, and O'Connor each added a goal for the Bears. The Lions would end the game scoring four straight; however, the Lions would fall to the Bears 13-11.

Jack Parolin had four points (3 goals, one assist) in his final game in the Orange and Black
Colin Kelley ended his final career game with 12 saves and a save percentage of 64%. Kelley ends his time at Mercer as the Career Leader in saves with 722.

Lindenwood finishing their season 0-12 and 0-8 in ASUN Conference Play.
