BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Junior Ariel Raggs registered a runner-up finish in the 400m Hurdles for the second time in as many appearances at the Southern Conference Championships, while senior Patrycja Miazek logged a fourth-place showing in the 5000m Run, to help Mercer amass 21 more team points on Tuesday on the final day of the league's postseason gala.

Mercer's 4x400m Relay squad raked in five team points thanks to a fourth-place finish, while the 4x100m Relay team finished sixth to tally a trio of team points. The Bears totaled 45 points over the two-day event on the way to finishing eighth. The point total was the highest for the squad since posting 59 points at the 2021 SoCon Championships.
