LAST TIME OUT
Mercer used three first half goals scored within a 15-minute span to earn its third win of the season on Thursday night as the Bears defeated Troy, 3-0 from Betts Stadium.
Lindsay Bell picked up her second consecutive shutout despite not having to make a single save all night. Mercer's defense was excellent all night in not allowing a single shot on goal from Troy as the Trojans had just four shot attempts.

UNC Asheville enters Sunday's game looking for its first win of the season. The Bulldogs dropped its first two games of the year on the road to fellow SoCon teams in The Citadel and Western Carolina.
UNC Asheville was picked to finish sixth out of nine teams in the Big South Preseason Poll. The Bulldogs returned 21 players from last season's team.
UNC Asheville has scored one goal in each of its first two games of the season. The Bulldogs returned their leading goal scorers from a season ago in senior Taylor Gardner and junior Nao Kawasaki who each had five goals on the season in 2023 and are still looking for their first goal in the 2024 campaign.
