MACON, Ga. - The Mercer women's soccer team travels to Jacksonville, Florida to play North Florida on Sunday, Sept.1. Kick off is set for 5 p.m.

SERIES HISTORY
North Florida leads the all-time series 6-4-2 and the Ospreys are 4-1-1 against the Bears in Jacksonville. The two teams met last season in Macon where the teams played to a 1-1 tie.
LAST TIME OUT
Trailing 2-0 at halftime, Mercer battled back to earn a 2-2 draw on the road at Georgia Southern on Thursday evening from Bo Pitts Field.
The Bears tied the game in the 84th minute when Larkin Thomason was found inside the penalty box. Thomason stepped up to the spot and placed her penalty kick into the right side of the goal to tie the game at two.

North Florida enters Sunday's game coming off a 0-0 draw at home against Kennesaw State. The Ospreys began their season with a 1-0 win at Miami and have also earned a scoreless draw against Florida this season.
North Florida was picked to finish tied for sixth out of 12 teams in the 2024 ASUN Preseason Poll. Fifth-year senior defender Ziara Siassi was named to the Preseason All-Conference Team for the Ospreys.
In three home games so far this season, North Florida is 1-0-2 and hasn't allowed a single goal in any of those three games. However, the Ospreys have only managed two goals themselves, both coming in a 2-0 win over Alabama A&M.
In five games this season, North Florida has scored three goals and allowed 10 with the No. 1 team in the country in Florida State accounting for all 10 of those goals. North Florida's leading returning goal scorers from a season ago are midfielder Paige McSwigan and forward Jersi Dadah who each had three goals last season.
