Sunday is the first all-time meeting between Mercer and Illinois. A matchup with a Big Ten opponent is uncommon for the Bears as this is the first Big Ten opponent for Mercer since playing Indiana in 2009
LAST TIME OUT
Mercer scored first in the opening 10 minutes, but were unable to add on as North Florida handed the Bears their first loss of the season by the final of 2-1 last Sunday from Hodges Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida.
