Bears Move Up Leaderboard In Second Day Of Golfweek Fall Challenge

PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. – The Mercer men's golf team had a strong performance in day two of the Golfweek Fall Challenge to move up a spot on the team leaderboard.

As a team, the Bears shot one under on the day to move up to seventh place. For the tournament, Mercer sits at six over.

Nathan Trodd and J.T. Herman had excellent rounds for the Bears on day two, shooting two under. Trodd recorded six birdies in his round and finds himself in a tie for 18^th on the individual leaderboard at even for the tournament. Herman made four birdies on Monday and sits in a tie for 26^th as an individual at two over.

Trey Mixon is also tied for 26^th on the individual leaderboard after shooting five over on day two.

Freshman Henry Robards shot three over to move to three over on the weekend and a tie for 35^th individually, while fellow freshman Ryan Curran shot two over and sits in a tie for 74^th on the individual leaderboard.

The Bears will tee off in the final round of the tournament tomorrow starting at 7:39 a.m.
