GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Bears finished the Furman Intercollegiate, and the fall season, tied for seventh of 15 teams at the Furman University Golf Club.

Henry Robards finished tied for fifth individually. Robards was the only Bear not to finish above par. The sophomore from Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, had the fourth-best scoring average on all Par 4s.

Cole Hanson turned in the second-best player in a Mercer polo. The graduate student from Grand Forks, North Dakota, finished one-over par and ended the tournament tied for ninth. Hanson's 11 birdies were the eighth-most of the 87 competitors.

Nathan Trodd and Phillips Swift finished tied for 57th sitting 10-over. Although Ryan Curran finished tied for 71st, he had the sixth-best scoring average among the field.

Mercer does not hit the course again until February 16 when the Bears travel to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, for the Wexford Intercollegiate.
