MACON, Ga. - The Mercer women's soccer team is set to play Western Carolina in the SoCon Tournament Semifinals Sunday afternoon. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. from the Catamount Athletic Complex.

SERIES HISTORY
Sunday's game will be the 16th all-time meeting between the two teams. Mercer leads the series 8-7-0, however the Catamounts have won each of the last three games, including a 2-1 win over the Bears when the two teams met back in the regular season in Macon.

Maria Karipidis headed in the game-winning goal off a corner kick in the 83rd minute to lift the No. 6 seed Mercer Bears to a 2-1 win over No. 3 seed ETSU in the SoCon Tournament Quarterfinals Friday evening from the campus of Western Carolina in Cullowhee, North Carolina.
SCOUTING WESTERN CAROLINA
Western Carolina is 10-5-4 on the season and went 5-2-2 with 17 points in the SoCon. The Catamounts earned the No. 2 seed in the SoCon Tournament.
Western Carolina defeated No. 7 seed UNCG on Friday, 4-3 in overtime.
In conference play, Western Carolina scored 21 goals and allowed just seven. Their seven goals allowed was tied with ETSU for the fewest goals allowed in the conference during SoCon play.
Western Carolina's leading goal scorer is First Team All-Conference selection, Isabellla DeMarco who leads the conference with 32 points. She has 13 goals and six assists and is coming off a hat trick in the Catamounts' quarterfinal win over UNCG on Friday.
