Mercer Prepares Betts Stadium For Southern Conference Tournament

MACON – After posting a tremendous 3-1-1 record in conference play, the Mercer men's soccer team earned the No. 2 seed in the SoCon championship tournament. As a result, the Bears earned home-field advantage for the opening two rounds.
This year's competition begins on Friday, November 7. No. 3 seeded UNC Greensboro plays No. 6 VMI in the opening round at Betts Stadium. Mercer will play the winner on Sunday, November 9. Both matches are slated to kick off at 7 p.m.
Since joining the SoCon in 2014, nobody has more conference championships than the Bears. Mercer has won the conference tournament five times since 2016 and most recently lifted the trophy in 2023. The Bears are 16-5 all-time in SoCon tournament matches.
Unlike regular season matches at Betts Stadium, tickets are required for entry and you can purchase them by clicking HERE! Both matches will be streamed live on ESPN+.
