MACON – Eight teams are set to compete this week, including six with scheduled home contests. Two teams - women's lacrosse and baseball - will open their 2025 campaigns on campus, while the men's lacrosse team will play its first of three home games in Five Star Stadium amid a busy Saturday on campus that also includes a home basketball doubleheader.

The three-time defending Big South Conference women's lacrosse champions will open their newest campaign when they welcome South Florida to Five Star Stadium for a 2:30 p.m. matchup. Admission is free. |
WEDNESDAY (2/12) |
Two teams are scheduled for road contests as the men's tennis team travels to the Heart of Dixie to take on Troy, while the men's basketball team will trek to Greenville, S.C., to battle Southern Conference rival Furman. The softball team will close out a season-opening five-game home stand when it welcomes in-state rival West Georgia to Sikes Field for a 6 p.m. tilt. Admission is free. |
THURSDAY (2/13) |
The women's basketball team will play the first of two home games this week on Wednesday evening when it squares off with Southern Conference nemesis Chattanooga on Play4Kay/Pink Out Night in Hawkins Arena. Tickets are still available and can be purchased by visiting MercerBears.com/Tickets. |
FRIDAY (2/14) |
Valentine's Day will not be a disappointment for those that love Mercer Athletics as three teams are scheduled to compete, including the women's tennis team who will travel to the Palmetto State to lock horns with Atlantic Coast Conference rival Clemson. The softball team will open its portion of round-robin tournament play at the Tennessee State-hosted Roar Invitational with games against both Stony Brook and Quinnipiac. The baseball team will lift the lid on its 2025 campaign when it plays the opening game of a weekend series against Milwaukee at OrthoGeorgia Park. SATURDAY (2/15) |
Saturday is the busiest day of the week for Mercer as six teams have games on the docket, including four squads in action on campus. The women's lacrosse team will head to Blacksburg, Va., to take on Virginia Tech, while the softball team will wrap up play at the Tennessee State-hosted Roar Invitational with games against both Illinois and the host Tigers. The men's lacrosse team will kick off a busy day on campus when they tangle with VMI in a noon matchup at Five Star Stadium. Admission is free. The baseball team will continue its weekend series against Milwaukee with a 2 p.m. first pitch at OrthoGeorgia Park, while the basketball teams will play their second of three spring doubleheaders at Hawkins Arena. SUNDAY (2/16) |
Three teams are on the schedule for Sunday, including the baseball team who will wrap up its weekend series with Milwaukee at OrthoGeorgia Park, First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m. and tickets can be purchased by visiting MercerBears.com/Tickets. The tennis teams will pack up their shows and head to Columbus, Ga., for a neutral site doubleheader against the Army Black Knights. The women's match is slated for a 10 a.m. start, while the men will battle West Point at 2 p.m. Both contests will be contested at Columbus State's John W. Walden Tennis Center. |
