Mercer Set To Play Furman Tuesday

MACON, Ga. - The Mercer women's tennis team is set to take on Furman on Tuesday. The match is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. from Greenville, South Carolina.

The Mercer women's tennis team dropped its match at home to Wofford 6-1 last Tuesday from the LeRoy Peddy Tennis Center.

SCOUTING FURMAN
Furman has played well this season as the Paladins are ranked No. 36 in the country and are 13-3 and 2-0 in SoCon play this season. Tuesday's match is the first SoCon match for the Paladins since Feb. 27 against UNCG Furman is coming off a 4-1 loss at home to No. 47 Charlotte last Friday.

Senior Marissa Pennings is 10-1 overall in singles to lead the team, while seniors Sara Snyder and Ellie Schulson are 10-4 at flight one doubles, and Jess Dawson and Macy Hitchcock boast an 1-3 mark at flight two in doubles.
