The Hornets were picked to finish sixth in the 10-team Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Preseason Coaches Poll. Freshman midfielder Adriana Gallucci has one of Alabama State's two goals on the season and leads the team with nine shots on the year.
In goal, Alabama has split time between two goalies with senior Corrine Brookes earning the start in Alabama State's last game on Friday against West Florida. Brookes made seven saves while allowing three goals in the loss.
