
Glus Named Big South Offensive Player Of The Week

MACON, Ga. - Mercer women's lacrosse attacker Caroline Glus was named Big South Offensive Player of the Week for the week for the first week of the season as announced by the league office Tuesday morning.
In Mercer's season opener against Virginia Tech, Glus tallied four points on three goals and one assist. She put four of her six shots on goal, went 1-for-2 on free position shots, and added one ground ball. The senior scored her first goal with 5:48 to go in the third quarter. She recorded a second with 57 seconds remaining in the third quarter, then a third with 6:12 remaining in the fourth as the Bears nearly erased a seven-goal second-half deficit.
Glus and the Bears will head to Nashville, Tennessee to play Vanderbilt on Thursday, Feb. 12. First draw is at 1 p.m ET / noon CT.
