NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Mary Grace Parker logged a time of 9:34.80 on the way to an eighth place finish in the 3000m Run that highlighted action for the Mercer track & field team on Friday and Saturday at the Vanderbilt-hosted Music City Challenge.

The Orange & Black finished the two-day event inside the Vanderbilt Multipurpose Facility with a quintet of top-15 finishes, including Charity Obazughanmwen who narrowly logged a top-10 showing with a time of 56.74 seconds in the 400m Dash.

The Bears will close out the indoor portion of its 2026 schedule on February 21 when the sprinters, jumpers and hurdlers head to Columbia, S.C., for the USC Invite inside the Carolina Indoor Track & Field Complex.
