Frederick Nabs ASUN Offensive Player of the Week Honors

MACON, Ga. - The Mercer men's lacrosse team earned its first Atlantic Sun Conference weekly award honor of the 2026 season after senior attackman Michael Frederick was named Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.
Frederick recorded four goals, four assists and 11 ground balls across two games on the week. The attackman led the Bears to victory against VMI on Saturday, Feb. 14 with four goals and two assists while adding another two assists against #6 Richmond on Monday, February 16.Â
The Rehoboth Beach, Del. native has 11 goals and five assists across four contests so far this season. Frederick has also tallied 13 ground balls and has started in all four games for the Bears.
Frederick and the Bears will host Army at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 23 at Five Star Stadium.
