Scheck Tied For 15th Place After First Round At Florida State Match-Up

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Katie Scheck is tied for 15h place as Mercer women's golf team wrapped up first round play Friday evening in 11th place out of 12 teams, at the Florida State Match-Up from Seminole Legacy Golf Club in Tallahassee, Florida.

As a team, the Bears are in 11th place after a first round team score of 24-over, 312. Tulsa is the 18-hole leader and the only team to go under par on Friday at 3-under, 285.

Scheck's day consisted of two birdies and three bogeys for a round of 1-over, 73. Florida State's Sophia Fullbrook and Eastern Michigan's Jasmine Leovao lead the field of 69 players at 3-under, 69.

The second round will begin Tuesday morning at 8:45 a.m. with Mahima Vurupatur the first Bear to tee off.
