CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Mercer Bears (21-6, 2-1 SoCon) dropped their second consecutive game for the first time this season with a 19-2 loss to No. 13 Oregon State at Goss Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Decisive Plays:

Titan Kamaka gave the Bears a second-inning lead with his third home run of the season. The Beavers equalized the contest in the bottom of the third off a sacrifice fly. Brant Baughcum blasted Mercer back in front with his sixth home run of the season in the fourth. In the home half of the frame, the Beavers plated two runs to gain their first lead of the game. Oregon State scored six runs in the fifth and eight in the seventh to put the game out of reach. A Josh Nati two-run home run in the eighth inning capped off the scoring.
