MACON, Ga. - The Mercer women's lacrosse team prepares to visit the Furman Paladins in Greenville, South Carolina on Wednesday night. First draw is set for 7 p.m. from Paldin Stadium.

SERIES HISTORY
Wednesday will be the 15th all-time meeting between Mercer and Furman. The all-time series is tied, 7-7. Furman won last year's game in Macon in overtime, 18-17.
LAST TIME OUT
Following a two and a half hour lightning delay, Mercer saw 10 different players find the back of the net as the Bears rolled to a 19-2 win over Presbyterian Wednesday night from Five Star Stadium in Macon, Georgia.
Presbyterian scored the first and last goals of the game. In between that, were 19 unanswered goals from the Bears who overcame the lightning delay and a slow start to move to 2-0 in conference play.
SCOUTING FURMAN
Furman enters Wednesay's game with a 7-6 overall record and 3-1 record in Big South play. The Paladins are coming off a 13-11 win at Longwood last Saturday.
Furman is 4-4 at home this season. Other than Longwood, Furman's other two Big South wins came against Presbyterian and Radford.
Furman ranks third in the Big South in goals per game at 12.6 per game. Defensively, Furman ranks fifth in the Big South in scoring defense at 12.8 goals allowed per game. The Paladins are averaging 8.5 caused turnovers per game and winning an average of 11 draw controls per game which both rank in the middle of the pack in the Big South.
Sophomore attacker Lily Toole leads the Big South offensively with 51 points (35G, 16A). Graduate midfielder Shae Insinga leads the Paladins with 39 goals on the year.
Sophomore goalie Sam Melville has played in 10 of Furman's 13 games while making seven starts in goal. She owns a .467 save percentage and a 10.4 goals against average.
