MACON, Ga. - The Mercer women's soccer team is set to host Georgia Southern Thursday night. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. from Betts Stadium, following the conclusion of the Mercer men's soccer game at 5 p.m.

The Mercer women's soccer team won in convincing fashion, 8-0 over South Carolina State in its home opener Sunday afternoon from Betts Stadium.
It was the largest margin of victory for the Bears since a 9-0 win over Berry College in August 2024. It was also the second shutout of the season for Mercer.

Georgia Southern enters Thursday's game without a loss as they own a 2-0-2 overall record. The Eagles are coming off a 1-1 draw at home to UNCW on Sunday.
Georgia Southern entered the 2026 campaign picked to finish ninth out of 14 teams in the Sun Belt Conference, according to a preseason poll of the league's coaches.Â
Georgia Southern has scored five goals this season and they have come from five different players. The Eagles' have two wins this season against North Florida and FGCU. The leading returning scorer for Georgia Southern is senior forward Addison Comer who tied for the team lead with four goals last year.
Senior goalie Quinn Wilson has started all four games in goal for the Eagles. She currently has a 0.50 goals against average and has made 18 saves on the year.
