MACON, Ga. -Â The Mercer women's soccer team is set to host No. 17 Georgia Sunday night. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. from Betts Stadium. It is the first visit to Macon from the Bulldogs since 2010.

SERIES HISTORY
Sunday's game will be the 12th all-time meeting between Mercer and Georgia. Georgia leads the all-time series, 10-0-1. The last meeting was in Athens in 2013 when the Bulldogs won, 3-0.
LAST TIME OUT
After a 3 hour 22 minute weather delay, the Mercer women's soccer team dropped a 4-1 game at home to visiting Georgia Southern Thursday night from Betts Stadium in Macon, Georgia.
The Eagles scored two goals in each half and Mercer's Payton Nutzman scored the Bears lone goal on a penalty kick late in the game for her third goal of the season, but the Bears dropped their second game of the season.
SCOUTING GEORGIA
Georgia enters Sunday's game coming off their first loss of the season at TCU, 3-2. The Bulldogs are 2-1-2 overall and prior to Thursday's game in Fort Worth, had shutout three of their first four opponents of the season.
Georgia was picked to finish third in the SEC Preseason Coaches Poll.
Despite a loaded class of newcomers, Georgia returns 64.5 percent of its minutes from the 2025 team which finished third in SEC play. Adding to 16 returning letterwinners, Georgia welcomed 12 new players to the 2026 roster, including four veteran transfers. Honoka Hamano earned Second Team All-Big 12 and Third Team All-Region honors last season at UCF, while senior midfielder Gabbi Ceballos was an SEC All-Tournament Team member at LSU last season as she helped the Tigers reach the NCAA Round of 16.
The Bulldogs have scored 12 goals while allowing just four on the season, three of those goals coming on Thursday at TCU. Hamano leads the team with thre goals and six points on the season. Eight different Bulldogs have scored a goal through the first five games of the season.
The Bulldogs have played three different goalies this season, with fifth year goalie Jordan Brown starting three of the games while owning a 0.64 goals against average and an .833 save percentage.
