MACON, Ga. -Â The Mercer women's soccer team visits ETSU Thursday night in the SoCon Opener for both teams. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. from Johnson City, Tennessee.

SERIES HISTORY
Thursday's game between Mercer and ETSU will be the 29th all-time meeting between the two teams. Mercer leads the series, 16-6-6. The two teams played twice last season with the results being a 1-1 draw in Macon in the regular season meeting. In the SoCon Tournament Quarterfinals, Mercer won 2-1.
LAST TIME OUT
After a two hour lightning delay, the Mercer women's soccer team played USF to a 2-2 draw last Thursday night from Corbett Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
In just the second ever meeting between the two sides, Mercer used a strong second half, scoring both goals in the final 45 minutes to take a 2-1 lead, before South Florida was able to tie the game at two with just over 10 minutes to play.
SCOUTING ETSU
ETSU enters Thursday's game with a 3-3-1 overall record. The Bucs are coming off a 1-1 draw at Radford this past Sunday. ETSU has played only two home games this season, winning one against West Georgia while losing the other to Appalachian State.
Through seven games, ETSU has scored seven goals and allowed 10 goals. The Bucs have not scored more than two goals in any game this season. ETSU is averaging 10.7 shots per game and 3.9 shots on goal per game.
Senior forward, Reagan Fitzgerald leads the Bucs with seven points (3G, 1A). She was a First Team All-SoCon selection last year. Junior forward, Jade Cooper is the only other Buc with two or more goals on the season with two goals and one assist.
Redshirt junior goalkeeper, Addison Yelton has started all seven of the Bucs' games in goal. She owns a 1.43 goals against average and a 66.7 percent save percentage. Yelton was a Second Team All-SoCon selection last season.
