2013: Played in two games before suffering a season ending injury … Notched four ground balls in Mercer’s season opening win against Rollins (2/9) … Took one shot and scooped a ground ball at Duke (2/17).
2012: Appeared in 14 games for the Bears earning 6 starts… scored five goals on the year with two coming in consecutive games against VMI (4/14) and St. John’s (4/21)… registered three assists on the year… picked up 30 ground balls with a season high of seven coming against Wagner (3/16)… caused six turnovers on the season.
2011: One of just four players to start all 13 games during the Bears' inaugural season ... 2 goals ... 2 assists ... 4 points ... First career goal came versus VMI (2/16) and was Mercer's first-ever goal scored in a home lacrosse game and was also the first-ever goal scored in an NCAA Division I men's lacrosse contest in the state of Georgia ... Second goal came in MU's first-ever lacrosse win versus Carthage (3/19) ... 25 ground balls ... 4 caused turnovers ... Won two of three face-offs ... Had a .667 shots on goal percentage.
High School: A graduate of McIntosh (2010) … Coached by Tom Hill … Two varsity seasons … As a senior, was named all-area and honorable mention all-state … Also led team in assists as a senior.
Personal: Born May 25, 1992 in Minnesota … Son of David Grayson and Susan Grayson … Has one brother and one sister, both older … Grew up playing soccer, until switching to lacrosse as a junior in high school … Likes to eat bananas and peanuts prior to a game … Favorite sports team is the Atlanta Falcons and favorite place is Hawaii … A business major … would like to start his own sports company someday.
