Anthony Perez is one season into his position as Mercer University’s Baseball Quality Control Manager, after graduating cum laude from Georgia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in business administration (finance concentration) in May of 2017.

Perez oversees practice quality, time efficiency and player development during drills and specializes in individual catcher positional skills while working with hitters to develop strengths and consistency at Mercer. He is a former member of the Georgia Tech baseball program.

Perez is a Juris Doctor Candidate in the Mercer University School of Law. He is expected to graduate in May of 2020 and is a 2017 Scholarship Essay Winner and earned the Mercer Law School Merit Band Scholarship. He hopes to establish a career as an attorney/agent and represent athletes or Major League Baseball organizations by working & advising in their legal departments.

Perez was born and raised in Suwanee, Ga., where he attended Peachtree High School.
