2013 at Mercer: Rotated in-between mid-week starter, weekend starter and reliever throughout the season … Appeared in 23 games on the season and ranked third on the team with 10 games started … Compiled a 3-4 overall record to go along with a 5.60 ERA … Struck out 32 batters and finished sixth on the team with 53.0 innings pitched … Earned his first weekend start of the season against Bethune-Cookman (Feb. 24) and picked up the win after allowing three runs to go along with four strikeouts in five innings pitched … Collected another win after giving up three runs on six hits in six innings pitched in a 9-6 win over Miami (OH) (March 2) … Put together his best outing of the season in a start against Kennesaw State (March 16) setting new career-highs with seven innings pitched and five strikeouts … Got a no-decision after allowing three runs in seven innings of work while throwing a season-high 95 pitches at Stetson (March 23) … Hurled an inning of scoreless relief and struck out two against Belmont (May 8).
2012 at Mercer: Was one of the most utilized members of Coach Gibson’s pitching staff, teaming up with classmate Morgan Pittman to form a legitimate one-two punch as left-handed relievers out of the bullpen ... Finished second on the team and ninth in the A-Sun Conference with 27 appearances and one start ... Finished fourth on the team with a 2.66 ERA to go along with a 1-1 record ... Struck out 17 batters in 20.1 innings pitched ... Was very stingy against left-handed hitters, holding them to a .226 batting average ... Started his collegiate career with 13-straight scoreless relief appearances from Feb. 21-April 1 ... Picked up his lone win of the season when he struck out a season-high three batters in a scoreless inning of relief in a 8-5 win at Savannah State (March 6) ... Threw 1.2 scoreless innings at SEC power Mississippi State (March 11) ... Pitched two shutout innings against A-Sun rival Stetson (March 31) ... Got lone start of the season and pitched a season-high 2.1 innings in a 8-5 road win at Jacksonville (April 29).
High School: Played baseball for two years at Pope High School under head coach Jeff Rowland … Was an All-Region selection and named the team’s Cy Young award winner and Pitcher of the Year as a senior … Also led the Hounds to a Regional Championship and an Elite Eight appearance in the state playoffs as a senior.
