Jake played his freshman year at Binghamton University…He played in nine games and earned two starts, scoring one goal and four ground balls for the season.

Four-year letterwinner at Vestal for head coach Chris Dutkowsky…Led his team to a 2015 Division 1 Championship…Helped Vestal win four consecutive Section 4 Class B Championships…Named a US Lacrosse All-American…2014 Class B Tournament MVP…2015 Under Armour Upstate Underclass All-American Team…Also played football and basketball for Vestal.

Jake is the son of Scott and Lynne Nelson…He has two brothers, Tucker and Jared…Scott was a letterwinner in lacrosse at North Carolina State and Lynne lettered in soccer at Nazareth College…Tucker played lacrosse at Binghamton and Jared plays at Pfeiffer…Scott is a veteran collegiate lacrosse coach who currently coaches at Pfeiffer.
