2012:
Has developed into one of the most complete midfielders in the region due to his tenacious defense, striking ability and creativity in setting up teammates … One of just six Bears to appear and start in all 20 games last season … Tallied a career-best 12 points on two goals and eight assists … His eight assists in 2012 ranked tied for first in the A-Sun Conference, 30th in the nation and tied for the third-most in a single-season in Mercer program history … Picked up his first helper of the season when he assisted on Mercer’s lone goal in a 2-1 loss at ACC power NC State (Aug. 26) … Scored his first goal of the season in a 2-0 Mercer win over Nebraska-Omaha (Aug. 31) as part of the Hotels at Grand Prairie Classic Tournament … For his efforts in the event, King was named the Hotels at Grand Prairie Classic Tournament MVP … Had a monster day in Mercer’s 4-0 home win over UNC-Asheville (Sept. 26), tallying a career-best three assists in the contest … Scored his second goal of the season in a 3-0 road win at North Florida (Oct. 18) … Was recognized for his breakout season by being named to the A-Sun All-Conference second team, A-Sun Conference All-Academic team, NSCAA Scholar All-South Region second team and an A-Sun All-Academic Honoree.
2011:
Followed up an impressive freshman campaign with a solid sophomore season, proving to be a consistent scoring threat from his midfield position … Appeared and started in 18 games … Finished third on the team with four goals and tied for fifth on the squad with eight points … Led the team and ranked sixth in the A-Sun Conference with 42 shots … Also paced the team with a remarkable 11 multi-shot performances … Started the season with a bang, playing all 110 minutes and scoring the Bears lone goal in a 1-1 tie at UNC-Asheville (Aug. 27) … Helped Mercer get off to a good start in A-Sun Conference play with a goal in the Bears 2-0 win over UNF (Sept. 29) … Scored another goal to help Mercer salvage a 1-1 tie at Lipscomb (Oct. 27) … Collected his only game-winning goal of the season when he hammered home a tally in the 82nd minute of play to give the Bears a 2-1 A-Sun Tournament first round win over Lipscomb (Nov. 9) ... Named an All-Academic selection by the Atlantic Sun.
2010:
Burst onto the scene as one of the most dangerous and talented freshman in the A-Sun Conference … Appeared in 16 games, making 13 starts … Finished tied for third on the team with seven points on three goals and one assist … All three of his goals were game-winning tallies, ranking him tied for second in the conference in that statistical category … Finished fourth on the team with 21 shots and collected six multi-shot performances … Scored his first collegiate goal in a 3-0 win over Radford (Sept. 10) … Tallied the game-winning goal in overtime and recorded a season-high six shots in a 1-0 win over Jacksonville (Oct. 23) … Capped his season by being named to the Atlantic Sun All-Freshman team.

Four-year letterwinner under head coach Chris Bess at Norcross High School ... led Norcross to three-straight playoff appearances in his sophomore, junior and senior seasons ... named to the Gwinnett All-County team as a junior after scoring 10 goals and handing out 11 assists ... was named team MVP and earned a spot on the exclusive Gwinnett County Super 6 team as a senior.
