The 2023-24 season is Kierra Graham's second season as a graduate assistant for Mercer women's basketball.
As a graduate assistant with the Bears, Graham's responsibilities include player development such as leading and assisting with individual player workouts. Helping with day to day activities for the team such as assisting with Director of Basketball Operations (DOBO) duties and gathering film and video of the team and opponents. Graham also helps create graphics and social media content and oversees the team managers.
Graham played college basketball at Liberty University for four years from 2016-2020. She saw significant playing time with the Flames starting her freshman season, playing in 30 games with nine starts. During her career at Liberty she played in 83 games, scoring over 500 points with more than 400 career rebounds.
Graham transferred to Alabama A&M to pursue her master's degree in counseling psychology. After taking her redshirt year in 2020-21, she played in 18 games during her graduate year in the 2021-22 season.
Graham grew up in Decatur, Georgia. She played her high school basketball at Tucker High School. Her senior season she helped the Tigers go 27-5 and finish as Georgia 6A state runners-up. She averaged 12.1 ppg and 8.7 rpg during her senior season, earning first team All-City, All-Region, and All-State accolades.
Graham graduated from Liberty University in 2020 with a degree in Sports Management. She also earned her Master of Science in counseling psychology degree from Alabama A&M in 2022.
