Having already logged an impressive academic resume as a student-athlete for Bears, Jordan Lynn transitions to athletic administration and begins her first year at Mercer in 2024-25 as a Student-Athlete Support Specialist.
A native of Spanish Fort, Ala., Lynn played in 55 matches (25 starts) for Mercer’s women’s soccer team from 2020-23 and logged more than 2,350 minutes of playing time in helping to pace the Bears to 34 wins and 18 ties across that stretch. She tallied eight career points on a pair of penalty kick goals and four assists, including a three-assist campaign as a junior in 2022.
Amid her time as a collegiate student-athlete, Lynn also logged time as a coach on the prep and club circuits as an assistant coach with both the Trussville (Ala.) United and Macon Soccer Clubs. Her high school coaching experience came as a member of the coaching staff at the Academy for Classical Education in Macon.
As a senior, Lynn served as a patient dining associate as part of an American Public Health Association study in the Mobile (Ala.) Infirmary where she worked alongside food services and patient dining associates to help tend to patient needs. She later presented her research and findings to the management of Morrison Healthcare at Mobile Infirmary.
Prior to trekking to Mercer as a scholarship student-athlete, she was a two-sport athlete in both soccer and football at Hewitt-Trussville (Ala.) High School. She converted on all 20 of her point-after attempts, as well as connected on both field goal tries, in her lone season as a senior.
A three-time member of the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll, Lynn was a member of the Dean’s List at MU before earning her bachelor’s degree in public health in 2024. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in business administration at Mercer.
