In her three seasons at Mercer, Morrell has helped coach two Bears into the Mercer record books. Former Bear Paige Alsten ranks top ten in eight different categories. Current Bear Jaida Howell ranked seventh in hitting percentage her freshman year with Morrell coaching her. Morrell oversees Mercer’s outside hitters, including Annie Karle, Brittany Major, and Roberta Todd, who led the 2019 Bears in kills with 864 combined.  Todd was also named to the 2019 CoSida Academic All-District, which rewards athletes for their excellence on and off the court. Mercer ended their season with a 10.52 kills by opponents average, the lowest in the Southern Conference.

- Middle and High School traveling volleyball instructor. Assess the skills and level of high school and middle school teams to set up and run a three day camp tailored to the needs of the athletes and the requests of the coaches.

- Constructed weekly sand volleyball practice plans and training sessions for girls and boys age 12-17.
