
Men's Soccer Hosts ETSU on Saturday

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer men's soccer team will conclude play in the Southern Conference regular season on Saturday, Nov. 1, when they host ETSU at Bear Field at 8 p.m.
A short ceremony honoring the Bears' two seniors will take place prior to the match.

SCOUTING ETSU
ETSU enters the match with a 7-8-1 overall record and a 3-5-1 mark in SoCon play.
The Bucs are led by Joao Ramalho's 22 points off 10 goals and two assists. Anthony Wojas is second for ETSU with three goals and two assists for eight points, while William Nordenstrom is third with two goals and three assists, totaling seven points.
Ramalho is second in the SoCon in total points (22), total goals (10) and points per game (1.38). He also ranks nationally at No. 10 in total goals and No. 15 in total points.
In goal, Daniel Adelman has made 49 saves and allowed 23 goals for a .681 save percentage and 1.54 goals-against average. He has recorded two shutouts for the Bucs this season.
As a team, ETSU has been outscored, 26-24, and outshot, 212-182, this season. The Bucs' opponents have also taken 98 corner kicks, compared to ETSU's 52.
MERCER NOTES
The Bears have an 11-6 record on the season and have gone 7-2 in league play. With a win, Mercer will clinch the SoCon regular season title and a No. 1 seed in the conference tournament.
Mercer won the first meeting this season, 1-0, in Johnson City, Tenn. Jourdan Gooden scored in the 67th minute, assisted by Thomas Glenn and Trenton Whitely, for the only goal of the night.
Will Bagrou leads the Bears offensively with 27 points off 11 goals and five assists. Bagrou is the reigning Disney Soccer/NSCAA and Top Drawer Soccer national player of the week, as well as the SoCon player of the week after scoring 11 points in Mercer's wins over Wofford and VMI.
Bagrou also leads the conference and ranks No. 3 nationally in total points, No. 4 in total goals and No. 11 in points per game (1.59). He is also second in the SoCon and 15th in the country in goals per game (0.65).
Jordan Duru is second for Mercer with nine points from three goals and three assists. Max Poore, Carson Brooks and Gooden have also scored three goals apiece this season.
Between the pipes, Greg Ranjitsingh has made 72 saves and allowed 18 goals for a .800 save percentage and a 1.03 GAA. He has also notched a league-leading eight shutouts. Ranjitsingh is second in the SoCon in GAA and save percentage and is ranked third in saves per game (4.24).
