Men's Soccer Hosts Wofford Tuesday in SoCon Opener
9/26/2016 4:22:00 PM | Men's Soccer
MACON, Ga. – One goal can make – or not make – all the difference in the world. For Mercer, one goal has been the decision maker in the outcome of four of the team's last five matches. That also holds true for the last five meetings against Wofford, a team the Bears host Tuesday evening in Macon to open Southern Conference play.
For Mercer (5-3, 0-0 SoCon), it's a chance to end a two-match winless streak and garner three points for the SoCon tables. For Wofford (5-2, 0-0), it is an opportunity to end a three-match winless streak against a Bears team that has more wins (30) than any other SoCon program since joining the league in 2014.
The match will be broadcast on ESPN3 with Todd Wilson (play-by-play), Al Kessler (analyst) and Kristin Banks (sideline) calling the action from Bear Field.
