Mercer to Compete at Crimson Classic, Berry Invitational

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer men's and women's cross country teams are set for a full weekend of competition at the Crimson Classic in Tuscaloosa, Ala. on Friday and the Berry Invitational in Mount Berry, Ga. on Saturday.

Mercer's two teams will split up to compete at both events in preparation for the SoCon Championships on the final weekend of October (Oct. 28). The Bears' last meet was the USC Upstate Invite in Spartanburg, S.C. on Sept. 30.

Friday's Crimson Classic, hosted by the University of Alabama at the Harry Pritchett Running Park, will start at 10 a.m. ET with the men's 8,000-meter, followed by the women's 6,000-meter at 10:45 a.m. ET. Saturday's Berry Invitational, hosted by Berry College at the Clara Bowl, start with the men's 8,000-meter at 9 a.m. and the women's 6,000-meter at 10 a.m.
