COACH SCHROEDER'S TAKE
On this weekend's SoCon matches…
"We have back-to-back tough road trips, maybe even our toughest back-to-back road trips of the season," said head coach Derek Schroeder after Wednesday's 3-0 win over Savannah State. "Last weekend's matchup at Western Carolina was a really tough place to play, and we're going back there for the conference tournament.
Â
This weekend we travel to Johnson City [Friday] then travel 3.5 hours in between to play Chattanooga at 1 p.m. the next day. None of that sets up well for us but we are not using it as an excuse. We're just going to go up there and be who we are and at the end of the match, if we are resilient and if we're in system, then we'll have a chance to win."
